As a community of women
created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves
to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing
and wholeness in the church, the society, and the world.
Membership: All women who are members of First Lutheran Church are members
of FLCW. FLCW General Business Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of March, June and December.
Naomi Circle uses a Bible Study and meets the third Thurdsday at 7:30 pm in
member's homes.
Priscilla Circle uses a Bible Study and meets the third Thursday at 1:30 pm
in member's homes.
Dorcas Circle makes quilts for Lutheran World Relief and for our First Lutheran
high school graduates. Dorcas meets the first and third Thursdays at 9:00 am at the church.
Attending circle meetings is not an obligation but rather an opportunity. We
want to get to know each other and our families and learn the needs of others. Please feel free to join a circle at any time.
Command them to do good, to be rich
in good works, to be generous and ready to share with others. In this way they will store up for themselves a treasure which
will be a solid foundation for the future. And then they will be able to win the life which is true life.
