Christian Education
U Sunday School
for ages 3 through high school, meets September through May at 9:00 am.
U Adult Bible
Study meets Sunday mornings at 9:00 am and Wednesday mornings at 10:00 am.
U Alpha and Small
Groups meet during the week at various times for study, growth and fellowship.
U Confirmation
Classes for 7th and 8th grade students, meet Wednesday evenings from September through May for learning, service projects,
fun and fellowship.
U Vacation Bible
School for all ages meets each summer.
Youth & Family Ministry
U Jr. & Sr. High
Youth in 7th through 12th grades meet on Sunday evenings for Bible Study. There are also monthly activities
and trips for service, fun and fellowship.
U Family Ministry
hosts a variety of activities to provide the church family with a time of inter-generational fellowship and learning.
U Summer Bible Camps are are available for youth of all ages as well as families.
U Summer Trips are scheduled
for Sr. High Youth including Mission Trips, High Adventure Trips and National Youth Gatherings.
Community
Ministries
U Pizza Parties are held after home High
School sport events. These parties are open to all community high school aged youth.
U Pine River
Area Food Shelf is housed in the First Lutheran Church basement and is staffed by volunteers from throughout the community.
The Food Shelf is open from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm on Tuesdays and Fridays throughout the year.
Music Ministries
U Choir meets
Wednesday evenings to practice and sings for Sunday worship throughout the month. An annual Christmas cantata
is also performed.
Women Ministries
U First Lutheran
Church Women (FLCW) is our women’s organization. Circles meet monthly and General meetings are held throughout
